Dancing Waters is located on the serene shores of Maple Bay, just a few kilometres from the False Bay ferry dock on Lasqueti Island.   A perfect place to launch for a short outing in protected waters or a longer tour to explore the many channels, coves, islands, and parks that surround Lasqueti's coast.

Lasqueti Island it a premier location for recreational kayaking and touring.  The rugged shoreline around Scottie Bay and the wide beaches in Maple bay provide a perfect setting for a day's exploration.  For the more adventurous, Jedidiah Island Marine Park is an easy day's paddle from Dancing Waters, and provides secluded wilderness camping - a perfect destination for a 2 - 5 day tour.  A circumnavigation of Lasqueti is possible in a 3 - 6 day trip, and could be arranged with overnights in some of Lasqueti's Guest Cottages and B&B's.  We would be happy to help you plan your trip.

Dancing Waters provides all the equipment you'll need, including boats, paddles, spary skirts, life vests, and kayak rescue gear.  All you need is some warm, dry clothes and lunch!   For multi-day trips, you will also need to bring your own camping equipment and food.  It is recommended that all parties carry adequate safety equipment, including some type of communication device - e.g.,  a radio or EPIRB - note that cell phone coverage is spotty to non-existent in most places along the East Coast of Lasqueti Island.
