ROAD NOTICE - update-

Barging delay has setback our gravel delivery by at least 24 hr.  The schedule now is for Tues.-Wed.

Lasqueti annual gravel delivery is scheduled for this Monday afternoon and Tuesday until finished (weather dependent) October 20-21.  These dates are subject to last minute change so just know its happening and possibly as soon as Monday afternoon. Please drive with additional care and attention.  Expect to experience heavy truck traffic, soft humps and loose gravel as well as a grader.  If it is raining the road will be very muddy and possibly slippery (pedestrians and bikers of all strips be forewarned).  Gravel will be placed on roads throughout the Island, please drive accordingly.  If you see a truck with its box up or driving slowly down the Centre of the road please allow "right of way" to the truck these guys have a lot to do and I know from experience that courtesy demonstrated by the public gets a lot in return.   If anyone has concerns regarding the work as it progresses bring your concern to me (I'll be in the grader/ truck) or call the road hazard reporting line (they can reach me by radio).
