Species at Risk Presentation @ the Arts Centre

We (Aimee Mitchell, Chris Currie, Dan Stewart) are a team of biologists that received federal funding to study and assist in the conservation of at-risk species in this region (Lasqueti, Texada, and the Powell River/Lund mainland). Some of you may have met us or heard about us when we spent some time on the island back in November.

In a week we are returning to your lovely island, and on March 28 we are putting on a presentation at the Arts Centre, where we will discuss our project, talk about some of the endangered species in your backyard, and attempt to answer any questions you may have on these subjects. We'd also love to hear any stories you have of encountering unique species on Lasqueti.
