Toilet problems on the ferry

The ferry crew asked me to plead with everyone NOT to put anything into the toilets on the ferry that they haven't eaten, chewed and digested, with a few sheets of toilet paper.  Anything else plugs up the system and renders the washroom unusable.

The outlet when you flush the toilet looks large, but below that is a built-in constriction that plugs up with anything else, like feminine hygiene products or flushable wipes, diapers, etc.  It sounds to me like poor design, but it's what there is on the ferry, so please don't take a chance on plugging it up.
