Fall Fair

Fall Fair: Saturday Sept 20

Opens at 2 pm at the community hall, continues until the evening. Dinner will feature roasted local pig and lamb, as well as fresh salads and veggies.

Make a display, organize an event, volunteer to help out, or just come for fun. Make it your fair.

More details to follow, including info on the food competitions, wine tasting, displays and activities.

We are aiming to bring Celtic Chaos for an evening of Highland music dance.

Proceeds will go to the Lasqueti Community Association to maintain and improve the hall and grounds.

If you would like to volunteer, make a display or organize an activity, contact Andrew Fall (8595). We especially need some volunteers for the food preparation. We like to distribute tasks, and would really appreciate anyone who would take on a single dinner dish (e.g. salad, potatoes or corn).

Lasqueti Community Association

The LCA was established in 1971 and incorporated as a charitable organization in 1978.   The purpose of the organization is simple: “to promote community development.” An annual general meeting is held in the spring, usually early May. Anyone who either owns property on Lasqueti or has lived here for a minimum of six months may join.
